We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join us for a 12-month internship based in Zurich. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in strategic hospitality marketing, supporting the development of campaigns, content, and brand communications across multiple client projects. As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in hospitality marketing across a variety of premium hotel and lifestyle projects. You will work closely with the FERUS team at our Zurich base and gain deep insights into holistic brand building, digital communication, and luxury brand positioning.
YOUR ROLE
As Marketing Intern at FERUS, you will support the strategic and operational implementation of marketing activities across digital, print, and experiential touchpoints. From content creation to research and coordination, you’ll get involved in different phases of hotel marketing projects and gain valuable exposure to the luxury hospitality industry.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, social)
- Support content creation for newsletters, social media, websites, brochures, and press kits
- Conduct research on trends, competitors, and target audiences within the luxury hospitality sector
- Coordinate with PR agencies, graphic designers, copywriters, and other external partners
- Help manage social media accounts: scheduling posts, community engagement, performance tracking
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and strategic documents
- Support event planning, retreats, and brand activations
- Handle general organisational and administrative tasks
YOUR PROFILE
- Ongoing or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, business, hospitality or similar field
- Strong interest in branding, digital communication, and the luxury hospitality industry
- First experience in marketing, media, PR or content creation (internship or personal projects)
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1+); German is a plus
- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Mailchimp)
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented working style
- Reliable, flexible and curious mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus
