FORESTIS
Overview
FORESTIS lies in a sheltered sunny location on the southern slope of the Plose mountain in the South Tyrolean Alps, directly opposite the impressive massifs of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Experience
A place of retreat surrounded by nature, where time can once again be sensed and filled with emotional value through physical and mental mindfulness towards oneself.
Ethos
The origins of FORESTIS go back to 1912. The outstanding conditions here prompted the establishment of a tuberculosis sanatorium, built by architect Otto Wagner in accordance with the doctors’ ideals. Today, FORESTIS is still building on these results.

SERVICES

Wellbeing
The FORESTIS Spa extends over an area of 2,000 m² and is spread over two floors with a view of the Dolomites. On the ground floor there is the reception and a 20 x 4.3 metre indoor pool, which is connected to a 22 x 5 metre outdoor pool. There is also a brine steam bath (65°C), a Finnish sauna (85°C), a bio sauna (70°C), a textile sauna (Finnish sauna with 45°C) and an outdoor sauna (Finnish sauna with 90°C) in a traditional South Tyrolean wooden house.

Forest cuisine
The FORESTIS cooking philosophy always follows the principles of variety, naturalness and authenticity. The restaurant is step-shaped, with each table offering the desired privacy and at the same time an extensive view of the surrounding forests and sunsets over the Dolomites. Nature is further felt through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Skiing
Due to its location at 1,800 metres above sea level, FORESTIS offers a variety of activities in nature. Ski-in/ski-out is the magic word that makes skiers' hearts beat faster. No nerve-racking approach to the ski area - just put on your ski boots, get on the boards, and follow a forest path directly from the ski room of FORESTIS to the piste.

Activities
Sport is an intensive experience of nature: year-round guided hikes of all levels of difficulty take place, while four bike routes on the Plose mountain lead through extensive and dense forests. Wyda, the Celtic movement theory, aims at the unity of man with nature and leads through the path of mindfulness to inner harmony and contentment. In FORESTIS, Wyda takes place in the open air in the forest, along streams or mountain rocks in good weather.
Member Vision
We would like to show people from all over the world this special place of power. The experiences that we have gained in various hotels and resorts around the world are being applied to FORESTIS and, together with our team, we’re putting mindfulness towards people and nature at the centre of our work.
FERUS Vision
To evolve the brand into its purest expression of unadulterated connection to nature, capturing the concept of an undistracted place in a way that’s specific, pure, and more honest and real.
